This is the unusual post war dry box in that Westinghouse put a pre war style lid on it. Pre war boxes butterfly open from side to side and post war boxes open front to back except for this one! Post war boxes are also known as "bow-out" boxes. As we have always done this box was stripped down competely. It is the only way to stop the rust starts on the inside and works it's way out. Parts available for this machine are: Lid liners - PP9C, lid gaskets - RP17A, body gasket - RP16A, bottle opener - HP25C, bottle opener bracket HP24, handles - HP14E and a screw kit - HP110M as well as a range of electrical parts. If you need help with the compressor system be sure to contact us , BEFORE you start. These units are durable but can be easily damaged if you don't know what you are doing. |
